Best Niche Recruitment Agency Winners
On Wednesday 25th November, the team were getting excited at Knowit HQ about our first ever awards event. The boys were looking sharp in their tuxedos, the ladies’ dresses were on point and by 5pm the office had turned into a pop up hair and beauty salon. By 5.45pm the Uber’s had arrived and we were on our way to the Marketing and Digital Recruitment Awards 2015.
After grabbing a drink at the champagne reception we were acutely aware that the big moment was nearing and after we watched an appearance from the Chippendoubles from Britain’s Got Talent and had some great food, it was the moment we had been waiting for.
We were up for Best Niche Recruitment Agency (Discipline). I had personally put on a brave and confident face. However, I was being told by Laura to stop shaking my leg up and down. A clear sign of nerves if there ever was one. We have put so much into the business since 2013 and this award meant a lot to all of us.
Seven awards had been handed out and our one was up next. The excellent host Dan McGuire from Cube19 started off by saying how difficult this category had been to judge. That was an instant worry and I thought it wasn’t going to be our night.
All the finalists were of an extremely high calibre, but in the end two companies had stood out, with the runner up being highly commended. With the runner up announced, the crowd fell silent as we waited to hear the announcement.
The Knowit table looked around in excitement…could we win it?
Then the news we had been waiting for…
“The winners of the Best Niche Recruitment Agency is… Knowit!”
After the screams from the team (mainly Allen) had passed, Nick and I took to the stage to collect our award and then the team joined us for a celebratory picture.
This is a reward for the entire team because of their constant dedication to their discipline.
It’s our team as a whole that enables us to stand out from the crowd and we are over the moon to have won this award. To be officially recognised as the best niche recruiters for discipline in the UK means a tremendous amount to us and we couldn’t be prouder.
Needless to say, the team celebrated accordingly that night.
